The Best Met Gala Looks Of All Time

Due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis the Met Gala (Metropolitan Museum of Art) has had to postpone its 2020 Costume Institute exhibition,“About Time: Fashion and Duration”, which was originally meant to take place on 4th May 2020.

The Telegraph commented that, "About Time: Fashion and Duration”  was set to explore fashion’s unique ability to time travel, melding clothing styles from different periods together to create ‘new’ ideas, moving in cycles at the same time as moving forward, and ensuring that some styles are considered timeless and ephemeral. The theme of this year’s exhibition was set to be particularly poignant as The Metropolitan Museum of Art will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2020.

Sadly no new date has been set for the 2020 Met Gala, however, what better time to go through the archives of the best Met Gala looks throughout its 25 year history.
